Last week, Rachael flew an airplane. It was one of those big commercial airlines and the pilot got sick mid-flight. Rachael was up in first class of course and the in the craziness of the moment, she agreed to only sit and make sure the "autopilot light" didn't turn out.
As she sat there, hoping that the flight attendant would discover a pilot was on the plane, she heard a man's voice come over the radio, "Flight 272 heavy, climb immeadiately to 19,000 feet, there is a small plane coming at you fast and they have no radio". Rachel felt a wave of dread come over her as she pulled back on the stick and clicked thee autopilot button. In front of her was a sea of buttons and gages that meant nothing to her, but that didnt matter now... all that mattered, was her small son, sleeping in his seat only feet away..." (to be continued)

As Rachel grasped the stick with both hands and pulled back on the plane it gained elevation so quickly she heard screams from the passengers behind her. There was a small voice behind her saying "Go mommy! That was fun can we do it again?"
Rachael knew it was a dire situation and they weren't safely out of the way of the other plane. She jerked hardly on the stick that was still in her hands and the plane continued to gain elevation. On this second climb, Rachel turned the stick what seemed to be slightly to the right and as the plane climbed it also turned to the right. This sudden change in direction made the diet coke of the passed out pilot spill in her lap.
The cold liquid spilling on her leg shocked a sleeping Rachael wide awake. She opened her eyes expecting to be upside down in the cockpit but all she saw was her small son standing above her pouring water on her from a beach toy.... As she tried to focus her eyes on his face she struggled to figure out how she got from the cockpit to the beach or if she was walking from a dream...
